Uncle John and Auntie Jackie always take such good care of us when we visit them at the Bay Tree Cottage in Thornbury. Auntie made us a scrumptious lasagne which totally hit the spot after a brave (if I may say so) drive from Stubbington. On the subject of driving, I'd just like to say that I made it all the way to within a 1/2 mile of Bay Tree Cottage before anyone honked at me. Anyway, it was really good to see the Jacksons. I wish our trip had been longer so we could have spent more time with them. Growing up I was always such good mates with Matt that most of any trip to England would be spent at Uncle John and Auntie Jackie's house. As I say, they always make us feel so welcome This time around was no exception. We had a round on the par 3 at Thornbury Golf Course--I got two birdies and one par!!--where Uncle J showed us that he's still pretty cheeky by scrumping some apples. Click snaps to enlarge
