We made a couple of trips down to Ocean Shores this past summer. Once with Brice, Kris and the deputy dogs; then another with that same crowd plus Martin, James, Susan and Libby. The first trip was just a general kite flying expedition. The second trip was that and a round of golf. Yes, we played in the WTK Invitational, which proved to be a good laugh. I lost a lot of golf balls, so did Martin, while Brice won the whole tournament with a record breaking 77. It was James, however, with the shot of the day... 2nd shot on a par four... two youngsters on the third floor balcony of Linde's Landing, an hotel that sits along the course... it was like watching Michael Jordan hit a clutch 3 pointer from mid-court... FOUR!!! (or is it FORE!!!)... the ball landed right there in the balcony without managing to hit either youngster or break any windows. I think we scored him an eagle just for maximizing our entertainment.
