Beth
and I took a late Summer holiday over to England to visit family and
friends. We toured around the Old Country catching up with the Jackson
posse, sneaking in a little Stonehenge along the way. We ate an amazing
curry with the Dawson clan in Bristol, just like old times, before we
Chunnel'd over to Paris to see if the Eiffel Tower is as cool as the Space
Needle (too close to call)...
...London was the headquarters for our operation. We spent much but not nearly enough time with my cousins Anna, Mad Matt, and his g.friend, Prabha. Our gracious hosts showed us the city, kept the kettle ever-ready, and made sure that the Dawson curry didn't go unrivaled. I'm even pretty sure Matt let me score a goal against him playing soccer on the PS2, tho' he didn't actually let me win. Along the way we cheered for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and concluded our trip with the Lion King at the Lyceum on the eve of our flight home. See what we saw starting in London... . |
