 Great Grandma, a wedding, family and friends we rarely get to see, cows, and a drive through the country (on the wrong side of the road). As always, click photos to enlarge...

Our trip started with the Dawson posse in Bristol who completely set new standards in hospitality. Thanks Brian, Emma, Molly and Thomas... we miss you!

We then hopped in Brian's 'estate wagon' and motored through Bath, on our way to visit...

...Great Grandma... and (How did she get here too?) Grandma! What a joy it was just being all together in the same room!

 From there we broke west for a stop in Lyme Regis on the way to see Anna and Jonny in Cheddar. Again the hospitality was first rate, up to and including a slap up chicken roast! Thanks cuz!

Back to Bristol for another night with Brian, Emma, Molly & Thomas, plus a slap up curry courtesy of Brian Sr and Annette. Famously delicious!

The Dawsons then joined us for a day up in Tetbury, The Cotswolds, where we took in the scenery, had a nice picnic face to face with the local cows, and...

...capped the day at a nice pub!

Our last stop was Thornbury for a fun day with the family at Bay Tree Cottage and more of the Jackson family's legendary hospitality. It was so nice to see everyone!
